You are the divine currently manifesting in human form. However, you have probably forgotten that, or at least are having trouble connecting in with this core essence of yourself effectively. The Ego will always experience the Divine Essence within you as something alien because the Ego is a structure of limitation and the Divine Essence within you is not limited.
There are a wide variety of ways to integrate the human and divine aspects of ourselves. The first concept is that we are here for a purpose. We chose to incarnate in order to have some type of experience. Please notice that I didn't say that God expects something of us. God is All That Is and doesn't expect anything. However, we expect things of ourselves and this means that the Universal (Divine) Aspect of me has a reason for my being here. So how do You and I go about learning what that is and working with it?
